To achieve truly exceptional results, BALMUDA’s development team tested the temperature inside the oven while adjusting the heater output second by second, carefully analysing every result through repeated precision testing.
The 3rd Generation BALMUDA The Toaster not only inherits the award-winning design of previous models, but also features a redesigned window shape, dial, and handle. A new power button has also been added, with automatic shut-off after 30 seconds of inactivity for improved energy saving. Its classic black and white colour options make it easy to match with your home interior.
The finest toast has a thin caramel-coloured crisp surface, while the inside remains moist, warm, and fluffy. The Magic Effect of Adding 5cc of Water
When toasting bread with BALMUDA The Toaster, use the measuring cup to add 5cc of water into the water inlet. During operation, the oven fills with steam, forming a layer of moisture over the surface of the bread. The moisture heats rapidly as steam, allowing the crust to brown slightly while helping the inside retain its moisture and buttery richness, locking in the aroma.
Perfect Temperature Control
The precise temperature control of BALMUDA The Toaster allows it to manage three important temperature zones for making perfect toast. The first is around 60°C, which helps revive the softness and flavour of the bread’s interior through starch gelatinisation. The second is around 160°C, which creates the caramel-coloured crust. The final stage is around 220°C, where browning and charring occur.
5 Practical Toasting Modes
BALMUDA The Toaster comes with 5 built-in modes: Toast, Cheese Toast, Baguette, Croissant, and Classic Mode. By making clever use of these 5 modes, you can toast a wide variety of delicious breads.
The Secret to Toasting Delicious Bread
BALMUDA carefully analyses the characteristics of different types of bread and adjusts the toasting process accordingly. For example, sliced bread has a curved top and a flat bottom. For the best result, place the curved top facing the oven window.
Use Classic Mode to Create More Delicious Dishes
In addition to the dedicated bread modes, BALMUDA The Toaster can also be used like a traditional oven with upper and lower heating in Classic Mode. It offers 3 temperature settings: 170°C, 220°C, and 250°C.
Heating at 160°C for around 3 minutes, suitable for reheating cooked food or making small snacks.

Heating at 220°C for around 3 minutes, suitable for gratin and baked dishes as it is less likely to burn.
● 250°C
Heating at 250°C for around 1.5 minutes. This high-heat mode is suitable for grilling mochi and gratin-style dishes.
